1966 Dodge Charger 383 

Back in the day I had two 66 Chargers. A black one and a light blue one. Black car had a 440 and the blue one had a 383. Miss em both.

I bought an all original 66 383 in May with original paint and interior with a giant 800 cfm Edelbrock carb on top of a mopar high performance intake with a 727 torqueflite and 355 suregrip and dual flowmaster exaust

One of my Mopars is one of these.....it's an all original 66....rust free clean survivor.....

Hello Mark, and thank you for watching! About your question, I made my system from scratch, I did not buy a kit and by saying this, I made my own kit. I made my own caliper bracket. MY system for the rear has 83 cadillac el dorado calipers with E'brake, replaced the rear bearings from oem to the green bearings. Also, did you add a proportioning valve or pressure reducing valve to your brake system. I installed a 1969 imperial dual diaphragm booster and matching cylinder I had to built a spacer for this to fit my brake pedal, (between Fire wall and booster spacer). Mark, it can be to even having air or the brake system. You may even have miss the bench bleed the brake master cylinder because it is new. Recommendation, start from the front and work you way the the calipers. Hope this was helpful to you Mark, and if more questions or need advice please ask. Thank you.

When installing rear disk brakes did u experience any problems? I install on 68 charger - not wanting to stop - all lines new - master and booster - any comments - may have to put an external vacuum pump? Thank Mark
