Memories. In 1965 my older brother bought a ‘65 Valiant convertible off the showroom floor. It had the 273 V-8 and the Hurst four on the floor. He wasn’t into racing, just liked the car. So did I. Unfortunately, it was totaled without injuries when just a few years old. I’m 74 and I miss the days when American cars could be worked on by amateur mechanics.
