at 2,35, a beauty is gping away and an ugly one coming. One of minimalist but best looking cars. A design that this simple could not look better. It is like a miracle in my eyes.
You know you can get the numbers from Chevy for a 250 CID six cylinder car's fender. Since the digits are separate you can put them as 502. How awesome that would look on your car!
I keep seeing all these 66 and 67 ss chevelle on RU-vid and none have gages. That is how all the plain jane cars came. My 67 has a full gage package including tac. Makes me wonder how many of these are clones.
Yes sir, I just subscribed! I love those hemis too! It's just sick!! I used to be all about camero's, but after watching videos and pics of the Chevell SS! Just a great machine! I've got to go and start saving some nickels my friend! Thank you!!!
1) Why a 427 badge? 2) Why an automatic? 3) Why are you driving with your left foot on the brake? .…And 4) Why don’t I have one if I’m going to complain about yours? 😬
Randy Jones it’s a hideously loud electric fan. I mean I get it, it looks cleaner under the hood without a clutch fan and shroud, but come on, that thing sounds ridiculous. There has to be a better way.
Guess they thought it looked cool & had that big engine in, was a really nice ride for sure. Thanks Paul for dropping a comment, it helps the channel. I appreciate you sir.
Beautiful car, I had one it was a 1967 Chevelle Malibu that I Cloned into an SS. The only thing I never changed was the dash board. It's the same as the one in this car. The SS dash had different gauges. This video shows the SS dash you sure this car isn't a Clone? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Jdo-of4ZEq0.html An original 67 Chevelle SS has the 138 vin code.
A Tremec 6 speed is THE TRANSMISSION to have with the 4.10 gear in the rear. Not only will you kick ass in the drags but with 2 overdrive gears you can cruise on the freeway at 80 MPH at 2000 RPM! Most excellent!
If this is an original SS396 I wonder why it didn't have factory gauges and the tachometer on the left side of the instrument cluster? That particular year the left turn signal light was incorporated into the tach on the SS models. These orginal tachs are pretty rare these days. Also, very few of these cars were automatics. Sharp car.
My dad said he bought a 68 chevelle ss straight out of the navy but he told me yrs ltr the 67 was prettier plus he said at purchase price was only 3000 $ 😂
@@samspace81 I also had a 67', albeit it was lowly 283ci Malibu 2 door. Bench seat with " PowerSLIDE". White ext, blue vinyl. Great car! Miss it. Oh ya, Chrome Reverses with baby moons.
Oh my God! If this was a stick he be riding the clutch! Step away from the car! And I mean far, far, away from the car,And go out and buy yourself a Schwinn (but make sure you get lessons on how to ride it)
