Looking forward to seeing how your project goes. I have to replace my package tray on my 66 GTO. Looking forward to seeing how you do things

Hopefully, your tray won't be as bad as this one, but thankfully it was a relatively easy repair.

what would say was the problem was fitting up the 1/4 panels to the wheelhouses>

From what I saw, the wheelhouses were stamped incorrectly.

@@midwestclassicscustoms1568 What brand were the outer and inner wheelhouses?

@@davidcrocker8356 if I recall, I got them from AMD. I didn't order the pre-welded wheelhouse assemblies because I was unsure of their fitment. I'm glad I ordered them individually.

@@midwestclassicscustoms1568 Hello again, I want to say how much I enjoyed your videos on the 67 GTO. Although I'm not deep into the restoration of my 67, I'm afraid my restoration is going to be very similar to the one you did on the white 67. For the past couple of years, I've been just digging around the car, taking pictures figuring out what parts I'm going to need, and then buying them. Everything is getting so expensive plus the shipping cost is getting crazy. I have already purchased just about all the sheet metal you did, for the repairs you did. I have one more major part and that would be the left full rear 1/4 panel. I had a little problem following the title numbers on your videos. I think I found most of them but it seems you stopped doing the videos for the restoration. I saw the introduction video and then the videos where everything went to hell. I am sorry to say I'm in the same boat. The only exterior panels I'm not going to be cutting off are the roof and the lower firewall. I also have bought door skins in case I can't salvage the bottom of the doors. Did you make any videos installing the trunk floor, the cabin floor, and the areas at the bottom of the "A" pillars where the floor, kick panels, rocker panels and lower cowl panels come together and are all tied together. I couldn't find any other videos on completing the car. I thought maybe the cost of doing the work on the car any further had an effect financially on the owners of the car and the project may have been put on the back burner Again I enjoyed your videos and helping me understand what I; 've gotten myself into. The big question for me right now is, "Where to start". I started at the front. I've got the radiator core support done, the hood is repaired, and the fenders are off but need patch panels. A lot of work has to be done around the upper cowl to windshield transition and the side cowls that lead down to the problem area at the bottom of the "A" pillars. I think this is where I'm going to continue, I'll get the front half of the car solid including the complete floor and rockers, I'm not sure about the rockers, I haven't gotten in there yet. Then I'll move on to the rear of the car which you have shown in detail with your videos. It looks like I'll be doing the same thing, rear quarters, inside and outside wheel-houses, trunk floor and drops, rear deck extension, rear package tray, and extension, and rear tail panel. Again, thank you for posting your videos. As I watch your videos, I take notes of what to do and what not to do. Between you and "DEBOSS GARAGE, who also did a 67 restoration, hopefully, I'll get mine done. If I had known what I know now, I probably wouldn't have started it or even bought the car. Take care, and let me know what the status is on the 67 and if you have any more videos on the 67 GTO restoration, especially the bottoms of the "A" pillars.

@@davidcrocker8356 I've made a lot more videos of this restoration and will hopefully be posting more soon. Its been very busy in the shop this spring, so I haven't been able to get the latest videos up as quickly as I'd like. Stay tuned for a lot more. As for your car, you need to start with a good foundation, but if your floors and rockers are as bad as this car was, you'll need to tackle it the way I did this car because you'll have nothing good to weld your new floor to.

Honestly, I've had good and bad from AMD. This trunk floor was for a 66-67, and I believe there is a difference in the rear section between years. Their tooling may be a match for a '66, and not exact for '67. Either way, I was glad the original pan had a good rear section
