Wasn't the 5.3 an LS ? My 01 GMC a 5.3 it an LS 7 ! Either way that's a beautiful 67 ! 👍👌

Thank you, this is actually a 6.2 L86 LT Gen 5 from a 2017 Silverado. It’s the same as the LT1 that come in Camaros and Corvettes currently, only it’s the truck version of the 6.2. You may be reading the decals on the coil covers as 5.3, it actually reads 535 (horsepower). The LT series replaced the LS series in 2014. There is a current 5.3 LT (L83) which has been the base engine for trucks in this same post 2014 LT Generation 5 era.

So I’m your honest opinion do you think the intake gave you more power? I want this intake because it looks great but I’m worried I’d lose hp or torque. My LT is a 5.3 it makes 390rwhp & 390 rwt I’d hate to go backwards just for a look 🤷🏾‍♂️ I also thought about getting a 6.2 factory (truck) intake. Their supposed to make the most power down low (out the whole)
