We're on the final stretch with the days counting down and work nearing an end. As if work on an old Volkswagen ever ends, ha! We install a few more seals, specifically a new hood seal and a new decklid seal to our 1967 Sunroof Beetle, and then we install the original bumpers at the front and rear along with the old brackets, a few new bolts and new bumper bracket seals. Then Sam pulls the window regulators and door latches from the doors to make sure that the windows roll up and down well and the door handles and locks work properly. Watch and enjoy as Sam gets this project ready to roll to the upcoming VW Round Up in Florence, AZ!

Looks unique with new shiny chromes without paintwork. I like it

Very nice work Sam, thx for bringing us along on another adventure of the 67 bug.. Going to be a very nice ride when you're done.. I really enjoy your channel, it's definitely one of the best concerning "how to" on VW's... Sam thx for the tip on Buddy Hale restorations.. I guess I'll go with him when everything is in place.. See you on the next video.. Until then, take care and God Bless....

Sunroof first, so you don't have to crawl over the seats!

Agreed, and that's exactly what I did!

I’m wondering what the clamping work light is.

I think it's a "Husky" led light from Home Depot if memory serves me correctly.

That paint is really starting to grow on me. I was never a ratrod guy, but an otherwise excellent car with awful paint works well.

Same, I look at a "patina car" and I think of what COULD be...and there is more in store for this little car!

@@Sam_Mebane "Patina", not ratrod. I remember a woman in DC had a patina seafoam green bug that was just excellent. At first I thought, "Get some paint on that!", but then it grew on me. It was a survivor. I appreciate that more than chopped up mashed stuff... but this is America and to each his or her own. I'm a bit of a stock snob except for disc brakes, my shifter, and my steering wheel. HAA!

@@jemcnair76 I'm pretty much the same, but I don't mind lowering cars a bit, changing seats and interiors a bit, etc. As long as nothing is getting cut up and destroyed, or as long as it can go back to stock without much work, I'm OK with it. Especially on early cars.
