The original running boards on the Zenith Blue '67, were blue as well. The only color that year to have matching running boards and paint. Wrong inside doors panels.
Not the best year, just one of many "best" years. What sets the 67 apart was the 12 volt electrical system and the "taller" third and fourth gears for more high end at hi-way speeds. other than that, they were built exactly like earlier years - that being: Very well done. The 67 Bus - the last split window - was also transitioned to 12 volt, but retained the low gearing in the transaxle until 68, which saw the first body change to the "bay window."
