Cats weren't 100% standard until the 80's. It was hit or miss in the 70's. Anything 69 and back didn't have cats lol. Its registered as an antique auto so, that cat rule doesn't apply. If it didn't come with cats from the factory, he's good. Doesn't sound bad, I'm not a huge fan of the 40 series.
