Please can you tell me why you chose the 40105 over the 40104 and also a cube rather than the cylindrical FEP60SV / 447060E ? Thanks , David ( P.S. I've no idea why this comes up as Grandad testing instead of David Brooks? )
I fitted the new valves , but they were actually 1.5mm greater dia than those I took out so had to emery them down to fit and then press them in with a vice. Anyway now I think they're not returning as fuel starvation has returned, so back onto the Electric fuel pump.
Really interesting. I've been wrangling new valves into my mechanical pump but your Facet cube pump could be a next step. what in-line fuel filter have you used ?
@@tarabordeaux1968 I noticed that , hence my question. I didn't want to create a fuel starvation issue and thought I'd fit in-line filters into the reserve and the fuel lines above the fuel tank in the boot. But the glass filters i've looked at didn't have 1/4" Internal Dia to match the lines. I'd like to see the fuel exiting the tank and cleaned before gumming up the pump so can you help my investigation please? David
But thanks for your further comments on your pump. do you think the noise is amplified by it's attatchment to the inner wing? did you consider fabricating a bracket to utilise the fixing bolts ofr the mechanical fuel pump cover plate? D
@@davidbrooks6381 It is quite noisy with just the ignition on but isn't audible with the engine running. Making a bracket for the blanking plate is a great idea but a bit beyond my skill set.
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anyone know of a tool to log back into an instagram account? I somehow lost the login password. I love any assistance you can give me
