Smart kid, he knows that headlight and mounts aren't stock.

Pulled 68 T120R out of a farm barn literally today, totally stock and original, showing just over 8000 miles, it had been sitting in the same spot since 1987, its pretty rough, so a total frame off resto is coming soon,

Good information shared concerning the early and later Concentric Carbs. I think the white stuff inside the float bowl is ethanol fuel related.

I was really hoping you were going to bend time and space and get the motor out without removing the rockers :)

Looks like another great project, I can't wait to see it when it is completed. I have watched all of your videos and found them to be well done and very educational. I am in the process of restoring a '71 TR6R like the one you did and have watched that video 3 or 4 times and refer to it often as I prepare to do projects on mine. I am curious as to your fathers background. He has a lot of great tips and "insider" information to pass along as the projects progress, things you just don't find in books and manuals but prove to be invaluable when the need arises. Without going into a lot of detail could you provide us with a little insight as to his background? Thanks for your great videos, you make a great team, I look forward to more projects in the future!

In the early 70's he worked in a Triumph shop and worked on Triumphs, BSA's and Nortons after it closed he worked on British bikes and Harleys for local people in our area cause they knew he would be the one that could fix it no matter what and they could trust him, cause he really knows what he is doing this was all going on while I grew up. This all inspired me for these bikes also he then helped me with my first bike a 1977 Triumph Bonneville which needed some work when I got it, Which I still have that I bought 26 years ago when the bike was 20 years old, this 68 project really makes him think about the past, so in an upcoming segment in this 68 series we will talk some more about his past and some of his old bikes like his old 68 Triumph.

One tool for working on a British bike is a set of Pozidrive screwdrivers - the screws are NOT Philips. Philips screwdrivers will trash the cross-heads.

Hi, love the videos! I have a 66 120tt special……looking for someone to restore it, do you do restorations for customers or just for yourselves?

A 66 120tt special that’s sweet, Well we do work on other peoples projects but we really didn’t record a lot of them and we like your comment, we’re always willing to help so we would need your contact information, preferably email, so we could discuss the details of your restoration needs, thanks
