My dad’s best friend had one when they were new. A deserved rep as a hairy-chested, rambunctious, handful. “A lot of bike.” I’ve got a Honda XR650L which is conceptually quite similar, only with 50% more capacity, that would absolutely wax a Victor in almost any contest or comparison, but is almost comically mild mannered.
The unit singles were great bikes. B25 was over tuned and had that iffy shell bearing ,but B44 and B50 were good. For something bad they have commanded a healthy price over the years.😀
