+Pha Q It's built for SHOW Not to Go. Yes it should be making some horsepower, but with ONLY 14 lbs of boost it's not going be HUGE numbers. A Single Turbo can put out more boost than that. The 468 cubic inch and 200hp shot of nitrous would probably make as much hp as it does running the twin turbos and blower at 14psi. It MIGHT be putting out 850-900hp if properly tuned and MAYBE a thousand with the nitrous added on top of all that. GOOD NUMBERS for sure, but nowhere near what people THINK it makes just because of how it looks.

with any forced induction you have to put it on a dyno to look at the air fuel ratio with a wideband. anyone that builds engines professionally will tell you tuning is a critical part of having the engine setup properly. maybe with all the money and time he put into it the numbers are low.

Which is why production supercars dont have this setup currently. He probably has the blower running and the turbos not connected. which explains why hes driving so slow. Reliability issues.

The way the turbos are piped they look to be useless. When they hit boost with the intake wide open it wont build boost. The supercharger is doing all the fun stuff.

He just made it look pretty, but its a normal form and function of a twin charged system. Bravo, glad to see he made it work.

The scoop on top cannot build boost with the throttle flaps wide open. Regardless, the extra air from the turbos would still help like a RAM air effect. He gets a 10 in style points but you'd make more power with just the turbos or SC alone if properly tuned.

brown55061 The red intake is sealed. It looks great. It is just a scoop for the compressor inlets. The small airbox below the red intake is sealed, and pressurized by the turbos that feeds the blower. Just like the underground kit they made for the Ford GT. The supercharger will pull through the turbos until they spool.

No the car couldn't handle 2000hp, it would blow a rod. With boost supercharger and nitro taken into account it probably makes just over 1200. Although you'd never find out from a dyno as the engine would blow up over 5000 revs and that's $50,000 and 15 years down the drain

@@sticklebacketienne yes it's one of those types of engines that would last maybe 2 or 3 eighth-mile drag races between rebuilds (if he's lucky). It would probably be too risky to run a full quarter with that kind of boost. Shoot, it probably only lasts a couple trips to Walmart & Autozone between rebuilds
