This is an exciting car! Gorgeous colors on a Chevelle convertible with a 502 and a 5-speed. Come on, who wouldnt fantasize about driving this one? We can make your fantasy a reality.
EXTERIOR: Beautiful color. This is a factory code 52 Garnet red car but this color has been tweaked with a little sparkle. The body is exceptionally clean. The bottom of the fenders are all metal, the doors have a clean lip all along the bottom edge. It is smooth all along the bottom, no bubbles. The panels fit completely square and flush. It is laser beam straight from every angle. The paint is polished out to a very smooth glossy finish and the metal flake is laid out evenly. If you look for them, there are a few touch ups. The chrome and trim in front is good but not new. The chrome and trim in back does look new. We just had a new white convertible top installed. It's power and works fine. The weather strips are excellent. It has a set of 15 inch chrome Cragar wheels and a beefy set of tires.
INTERIOR: The pearl white looks beautiful against the red metallic exterior. It's a nice light color that stays cool in the summer. The interior looks like it was replaced but probably 10 years ago. It's not ripped up or beat up but not new either. It has a complete set of GM seat belts. The dash is new because we replaced it. New dash pad, instrument panel, power top switch bezel, cigarette lighter, mirror, factory tachometer and gauge cluster. The heater control panel looks new too. It has a retro stereo with aux plug and molded in kick panel speakers. It has a tilt column with a rosewood deluxe wheel, there are some cracks in the wheel. In between the bucket seats is an original console updated with a 5-speed shift pattern.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 502-502 hp! GM aluminum heads and intake. It has a dual feed Holley carb with electric choke, MSD ignition and a set of coated headers. It is dressed with a nice set of cast aluminum valve covers. Front of the motor has billet pulleys with serpentine belt, chrome alternator and power steering with a billet bracket. It has power brakes too. New wiper motor. Upgraded aluminum radiator, the shroud and fan are new. It has stainless steel heater hoses.
