Yeah I don't know why I had it in my mind when I typed out this comment that the mach 1 came after the all that but im wrong now I know I was just being stupid but in my humble opinion Im not a fan of the mustangs past the model year of 1972...well I am but the little period between 1973 and 1994 are just not it for me which is okay. Between those times was not the time for the muscle car and alot of other types of incredible cars came up to fill in the gaps left by the Era of Muscle. Im a big fan of the newer mustangs but what we have today in 2022, as great as it is, will never beat out that little time between 1965 - 1972. No big rumbling V8s, no super mean muscularly defined body styles, no character and no personality. They have no substance. Its like a girl with the most perfect pair of tits and ass and she seems really appealing until you find out she has no personality and that she gets boring really quick. New mustangs are great but it will only be that will till they're not. The old mustangs are called the greats because they will always will great and nothing can replace them. Anything after the greats, no matter how good it may be, is only trying to copy the greats. The greats are so good because they are themselves, they had no predecessors. Im not even sure what im going on about at this point, all I needed to say was that you're right and they're are other great mustangs from that year range.
@@buttslayer699 The 73 was like 1 inch longer than the 72. They had to go with a slightly longer bumper to meet crash test regulations. Most people cant tell them apart. The entire car is 99% the same. It was 74 when they changed to the smaller gas saver models due to the "fuel crisis".
@@giantpune I really have no idea why they have to regulate cars that are not made for fuel efficiency. "The car does not meet our standards and so cannot be sold." People buying these damn cars don't give a shit about fuel efficiency, they just want to enjoy themselves. If they wanted a fuel efficient car, they wouldn't be a performance car but ya know all cars have to be taxed and to the standards of the EPA so whatever I guess. Just a damn shame companies can't build the cars they want to build
