Of all the Mustangs, the '69 R Code Mach 1 has the best body styling and interior appointments including Shelbys. Note the example above is sans rear spoiler, window slats and front spoiler which only ruin the lines of this beast. It's also the fifth fastest factory built Mustang of the classic era. The fastest being the 68 1/2 Cobra Jet but good luck in finding one especially with a 4 speed.

Na ja, inzwischen ist mein Bertone bloss noch Staub, habe ihn 1999 nach einem Zahnriemenriss mit kapitalem Motorschaden weggeschmissen...
Gute Arbeit. Hatte 1982 auch einen, aber den Vorgänger mit den kleinen Stoßstangen. Leider ist er mir innerhalb von zwei Jahren total verrostet. Viel Spaß damit.
I drive my 6 speed challenger like that, but its alot less epic lmao, stock exhaust is slightly too tame, just needs a little more noise like this one.
Memories! I had one .. 351 Cleveland but with a three speed standard on the floor… second gear was long and sweet… my younger brother still talks about it decades later. Iconic styling… got a 2015 GT when I was 64 and drove the living snot out of it!… never had a single issue with it! bullet proof 5.0…
Boy oh boy does that bring back memories. For awhile there we were the CJ family. Dad had 428CJ in his 1968 Forest Green Fastback GT with dual quads on a HM intake, his buddy who hung around a lot had a 1969 Mach 1 428SCJ Dual Quads with the drag pak and I had my 1967 GT 390 with the 390 removed and a 428CJ installed with a single Holley 735 4Bbl. All 4 speed cars. All with 390 to 411 gears. Those were some fantastic days and just the sound of this video brought it all back. THANK YOU! (4 years late, I know. :( )
