Startup video of our recently completed refurbishment of a 1969 Norton Commando 750 Fastback
Now sold!!
This is a ex USA Matching Numbers Norton Commando 750 Fastback. This is a 2 owner bike, the original owner owned from new until 2019. Manufactured in March 1969. Painted in the extremely rare Fire Flake Red and Silver, only 250 were to leave the factory in this scheme as quoted by ex-factory member and Norton guru Norman White. Genuine low miles bike in fantastic condition. Has been stored most of it's life, we have imported it and given it a good going over and refurbishment. We've tried to keep this as original as possible while still refurbishing it to a showroom condition. We will include a scan of the original factory dispatch records for this bike.
This Commando was on display at the 2023 NZ Motorcycle Show. A lot of work has gone into the bike to bring it back to original as possible without a full nut and bolt restoration. We believe the low 5800 miles to be genuine and looking at the overall condition of the bike it would be hard not to agree. It runs very well with no smoke. Compression test gives 150 PSI on both cylinders. Pulls hard and gearbox is strong. Sounds extremely good with the pipes on it too. Has it's original fiberglass tank which is in great condition and has been sealed.
