I owned the same car as my daily drive 40 years ago. Loved it ,the maintenance kept me poor but happy. Thanks for the drive ,it brought back to me all the enjoyment I got from owning one
I own the same, but with Grey color and brown leather, I also enjoy the drive as if am lunching to the moon with this romance music that goes out from the engine..
@evan91 we also have a Pino Verdi 1750GTV (1968) which we've owned for almost 40 years - it has just had a full resto after being both a race car and daily driver for many years. Just wondering where you shot the video? We are live down under and are curious.
Sounds like an interesting car, hope you'll post a few videos of it :) I'm in the UK and this video was taken in the east of England. I don't have the car anymore though, but it was great to drive.
Nice car, trying to find one myself now too but there really aren't many coming up for sale in RHD. What's the redline on this? Any idea if its different to the 2000 GTV?
Thanks! I sold the car in 2019 so don't own it anymore. Was lovely though and fairly rare in RHD as you say. I think the deadline is around 6500-7000rpm if I remember rightly. Not sure what the redline is on the 2000 GTV though.
@@50ccpower Perhaps you could share how you found ownership as finding info on this car is hard now, especially if I'm thinking of getting one should one become available. How did you find it drove, was it enjoyable to drive it a bit harder or is it more of a cruising type car? I saw another video which mentioned lots of wind noise is a common occurrence with these cars, would you say its true? Maintenance, required a lot of work to keep it going or was it fairly reliable? @@AM4N18 sure no problem. I found the car was great to drive both in summer and winter. Although mine didn't have a heater and no aircon so was warm in the summer and cold during winter! I don't remember any wind noise on mine, of course won't be as quiet as a modern car but seems good. Maintenance is about the same as a normal car. Regular oil changes really. I had no problems with mine and was reliable.
Haha we in the UK would say the correct side is RHD 😉 I actually prefer the green over the red, but unfortunately the car was sold around 2 years ago. I have an alfa romeo 2600 sprint now also on my RU-vid channel
