Beautiful example of one of GM's finest creations! Love the White Top with White Leather Interior! Hope the next custodian takes such fine care of this fabulous car.
@@GrandPines323 Glad to hear you're keeping your beautiful DeVille Convertible (and keeping it true to its originality!) Best wishes with your great American automobile!
When starting a carbureted car with no automatic choke I believe if it is functioning correctly all you need to do is push the gas pedal all the way to the floor one time before starting
This belongs to the "Great Cars Hall Of Fame" The Accelerator needs to pressed only once before turning the key when starting from cold. Always worked on.my Fleetwood.
I was told by a carburetor expert that there may be a design flaw in the carburetor which allows the fuel to leak out of the float over time. He said it can be modified to prevent it from happening.
@@GrandPines323 possible you get a lot of people though when they put the car away for a long time they'll change the oil fill up the float and then they'll take Saran wrap or plastic wrap and wrap the car all the way up to keep it from evaporating but it started fairly quick with just a little pumping so you can't beat that after 4 months that isn't nothing at all everybody talked about how long it took to start that didn't take long at all
DieselDucy We still have it. I haven't been pushing myself very much toward selling it, but it's still for sale, according to my wife. She's wishing to receive $25,000 for it. It's very much worth it. Everytime I get it out, l receive lots of attention and compliments. My kids love it too. Especially my 17yr.old son who's mentally challenged. He goes with me to car shows and cars & coffee events. Let me know how close you can get to the asking price, I'll see what we can work out. Call or text me 479-414-7562 Thanks
