This Fully Documented 1970 Camaro Z28 is in fantastic condition inside and out. This Real Deal Z28 comes with its build sheet, protecto plate, warranty information, #'s matching Lt1 Motor, #'s matching transmission, and rear end. This Solid California built and raised car has always been a nice clean car. It came from the factory as a Citrus Green Camaro and that is exactly how it is presented today. The previous owner took this already stunning Z28 in to his local body shop and had it taken apart, paint stripped, and a fresh new coat of Citrus Green put on it only two years ago. It looks beautiful and so does it original California undercarriage. It has all been painted black and looks great with rust free panels detailed nicely. Its trunk is also detailed very well and it has two beautifully done sub woofers in there hooked up to a new digital am fm blue tooth radio. Its black bucket seat with full console, 4 speed, and factory gauge interior is absolutely breath taking. Not only is this a real deal Z with excellent paint, and interior but the best thing in my opinion about this car is the way it runs and drives. The power and handling on this Z28 is amazing. I promise you if you get behind the wheel it and go thru the gears it will put a smile on your face also! Its powered by its #'s matching 350 V8 360 HP LT1 Engine, backed up by its #' s matching 4 speed transmission, 12 bolt possi with 410 gears, tachometer, gauges, power steering, power front disc brakes, headers, dual exhaust, front spoiler, rear spoiler, and is riding on a nice set of original rally rims with RWL tires.

LS6 Chevelle, 440 Challenger or ‘Cuda, 428 Cougar or Mustang, Buick GSX, 454 Corvette are just a few examples of 1970 cars that would leave this Camaro in the dust. The Camaro is gorgeous and a great car, but not the fastest or the quickest.

I love the 70 Z-28. I looked at one in a Chevy showroom back in early 70. What I remember was how noticeable the orange peel was in the paint and how poorly the doors were aligned. You won't see that in today's restored cars. But I also have several original 1970 road tests of them, both stick and auto. We're talking mid to high 14s in the mid 90s...by no means an apex predator.

The local dealership (Colonial Chevrolet) had giant cassettes promoting the different cars and trucks. The tape for the Corvette showed the car's performance and cornering prowess. On the tape for the Camaro, the narrator pointed out that the video of the Corvette cornering capabilities was taken from a Camaro. Well played. I've never forgotten it. (Note: As I recall, the LT1 couldn't be had with AC because either they couldn't keep a belt on it at high RPM, or the compressor couldn't take it?)

So many bored keyboard jockeys on here ripping on the fact that he said "Fastest car in 1970"...Then comparing it to big blocks and hemi 426s etc...Gimme a break...I heard what he said but all he basically meant was that it was the highest HP 350 small block in "1970"...AND IT WAS!!! It was a 350 4-bolt with 11:1 flat tops, steel crank, solid lifter cam, 2:02 1:60 64cc dbl hump heads, Holley 750cfm, and true alum high rise dual plane intake that made 360HP. I know...I HAVE ONE! Nice car and great vid...keep up the good work! Thanks for posting.

cliff ford both the 1970 426 Hemi powered Cuda and Road Runners beat the Buick by 0.3 (Cuda) and 0.1 (RR) seconds in the quarter mile with a +2 mile per hour trap speed. The time that Motor Trend got out of the Buick could never be duplicated by any other test. The 1970 Chevelle 454 also beat it with times slightly less than the Cuda.

I came home in 1973 from serving in the U.s. Air Force, my cousin was new car sale manager at a chev dealer ship. We sat down and ordered a 1973 z-28. It was white with black in side. Five week after ordering it he call me to tell me the car came in . I pick it up and drove about 3 miles to a sonic drive in .when I git ready to leave, this 4speed had the reverse look out .you had to pull the shifter up to put into reverse. When I pulled the shifter up it came out in my hand. Had to get under car a had put it in2gear and took it back to dealer. That was the first problem I had. It was a peace of junk. I soled it back to the dealer. After that I had 14 new chev. They all had bad problems. Chev to this day do not make a good car . After all those chev. A went to Toyota and never hade any problems out of 9 Toyota.
