It's a car I wish to own one day too but lucky enough to work on one and the brand is called pypes and they carry the down pypes summit racing sells them and are stainless steel

How much lowder are street pro vs Turbo Pro? I have a 1979 L-82 Corvette completely stock.I want it to sound like the original factory exhaust. I'm not into loud. I like the exhaust sound I have. I just want to make it more free flowing. Thank you!!!

It's a chambered muffler is the street pro so it would be like having a flowmaster on your car the turbo muffler is like the good old cheap turbo mufflers but built better and would definitely quiet down your car for sure but when you step in it it will still have that throaty v8 sound still

@@sptosti the race pro is styled like a turbo but I don't believe it's has the sound deadener in it like a turbo and has a perferated tube going in the middle of it supposedly the loudest muffler they got I have it on a 2019 Silverado and it's not really loud.

I recently bought a Pypes 3" exhaust kit for my 70 SS Chevelle that wasn't the high tuck like you have and I'm having a heck of a time with the tailpipe which is where I have to start (according to instructions) since I have headers. My first problem is the rear tailpipe hangers. They gave me the same small ones like they gave you, which is completely different the the oem ones on my car. I can't figure out the exact mounting location for them and it was too hard to see it in the video Everywhere I tried didn't seem to work. Any way we could get a well lit shot of that location? That would really help me, I know that.

Thank you for watching and it's hard to say where to start but to kinda get things in place and mocked up first. But if you have the flanges for the headers put them on first to see what pipes need to be trimmed as is to get the mufflers fit in the proper spot and the hangers that go above the axle mounts to the cross member tucked up in by the floor. And I can't remember which side was which but I've found on Google a few pictures that shows the hanger locations I don't have the car near me at the moment to look but there are premade holes that the middle hangers bolt to. Then the tailpipe hangers I mounted to the original exhaust hangers holes and adjusted the exhaust clamp as much as possible to tuck it way up inside the 1 the best I could without hitting any parts of the suspension and to help with pictures since I can't quite upload pictures on here is try searching for muffler hangers for 1970 Chevelle to help the best if you have any other questions feel free to ask I hope this helps!
