An LS3 swapped split bumper Camaro Restomod! This car is turnkey and ready to drive anywhere! It's a fresh restoration with only 800 miles since completion. This car was restored by a professional with over 40 years of experience working on classic cars. The paint and body work are top quality, and it has all original sheet metal except the upgraded cowl hood. It's also equipped with many modern amenities that make cruising a breeze, like the six-speed automatic transmission and modern air conditioning for example. This car is done totally right!
EXTERIOR: Fresh and clean! Said to be all original metal with exception of the cowl hood. The guy we bought this car from did body work and paint professionally for 40 years and built this car as a hobby. The body is absolutely 100% laser straight without a ripple or wave in sight. All the panels are aligned well above average, and the gaps are very consistent throughout. The long heavy doors close very easily just like a new Mercedes. The Hugger orange PPG paint was laid out beautifully then polished to a smooth, slick, and glossy finish. It also has all new glass and rubber seals. All the trim shines nicely and even the bumpers and brackets are brand new. It's equipped with aftermarket LED headlights and taillights. The builder also added front and rear spoilers that really enhance the overall aesthetic. It's sitting on 17" Chrome Cragar SS 5 spoke mags that are wrapped in BFGoodrich G-Force Comp 2 performance tires that are wider in the back.
INTERIOR: Everything looks new from top to bottom! I'm really liking these Procar bucket seats. They are very comfortable with a high back and headrests and provide tremendous support while touring. They even have an adjustable lumbar and also recline and have brand new 3-point seat belts too. It also has a very nice new reproduction center console and an original style automatic shifter. The rear seat has been reupholstered with matching vinyl/stitching as the front seats and is equipped with seat belts too. I'm also a big fan of the analog/digital Dakota gauges. They have a very clean look, illuminate brightly and are easy to read. There are currently 801 miles on the odometer since restoration. The car has been completely rewired with a modern computer and has an OBD plug under the dash. It has a modern A/C and heat climate control panel by Vintage Air and also a retro stereo that are both cleanly incorporated into the dashboard. It's equipped with an aftermarket tilt column and an Eurosport steering wheel that has a great grip to it. The door panels look fresh, and the driver side has a remote mirror. The rearview mirror does look original and has some foggy spots. The dash pad, headliner, sun visors, rear shelf, and carpet all have been replaced and look fresh as well.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This Restomod has a modern LS3 swap! It's a 6.2 liter (376 cubic inch) fuel injected turnkey engine that generates 426 horsepower. It's equipped with air conditioning, power steering, and a custom air intake. All the hoses and wires are brand new and routed very nicely, and the battery is properly secured. It has an upgraded aluminum radiator by Champion that has dual electric fans to keep cool. The power brake master cylinder and booster have been replaced and upgraded with a Willwood proportioning valve. The underside of the hood, fender wells, and firewall are all neatly painted satin black.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the trunk lid and jambs are painted Hugger orange and polished shiny just like the body. The weather stripping was replaced. The trunk pan metal is all solid and said to be original with a very neatly applied spatter finish paint.
UNDERSIDE: A beautiful undercarriage with many new components! All the steering and suspension components were rebuilt using fresh sport suspension parts by Hotchkins. It's equipped with front and rear sway bars that have new bushings as well. It has fresh Willwood disc brakes at all four wheels with new lines and even the emergency brake is hooked up. It's got a new full dual exhaust system that has an x-pipe and tips that exit under the rear valance. The gas tank and hanging straps have been replaced and the fuel pump was upgraded to an external unit that has fresh braided lines. Looking up at the LS3 engine everything looks clean and correct.

Wow, this 1970 Camaro Restomod is pure automotive perfection. The LS3 engine paired with the 6L80 transmission is a match made in heaven. It's incredible how you've managed to blend classic styling with modern performance and comfort. From the sleek exterior to the luxurious interior, every aspect of this car exudes quality. You've truly captured the essence of the Camaro while elevating it to new heights.

Car isn't worth anything. Plain Camaro with Bumperettes' and no grill extender or 2 piece grill. Trying to make it look like a RS. And RS has parking lights next to headlights and not on bottom below bumper.

1970 to 1973 Camaro RS had the split front bumper instead on non RS Camaro having a one piece solid front bumper, and the RS package had either the square turn signal/parking lights under the headlights, or the round turn signal/parking lights that are between the head lights. It all depended upon which package was ordered, such as my 1972 Camaro SS had the RS package added with giving it split front bumpers and round turn signal lights between the headlights.

@@michaelfercik3691 You just repeated me basically like a parrot. I am laughing my azz off. The 70-73 RS package is a trim and enhancement package. The RS comes with a split bumper front end. The split bumper has a grill extender piece and a 2 piece grill. It also has round parking lights next to the headlights. A plain Camaro had a full bumper and rectangular parking lights below the bumper. The SS Camaro comes with a big block. The plain Camaro comes with a small block. The Z28 came with a hi performance 350. In 1970 1/2, the Z28 came with the 350 LT1 that was the same engine they put in the Corvettes. In 71, because of the gas crisis, the Z28 350 HP engine was dramatically reduced. They were not offering the LT1. The SS is a big block engine. Usually the 396 or 402. So, you could get a plain Camaro with a 6 cyl or a 350 basic. The RS came with the trim package split bumper and a basic 350 engine. The RS-Z28 was the high performance 350 with split bumper. The RS-SS was a big block with the split bumper. I should know. I have owned and restored 30 Camaros from 67' to 74. The Camaro being sold here is a plain Camaro that they just removed the full bumper and added bumperettes. Resto Mod or not, it is not worth much of anything. The RS package also had other trim, interior and other options such as 12 bolt rear end, M-22 manual transmission, rear sway bar, etc. You could also get a SS with a 350 special order.

SS Camaro came with 350. 396 was an option. 71-72 Z had an LT1. Restored 30 Camaros huh?
