Hello everyone.
New video with another American muscle from Auto World / ERTL. I've already reviewed a couple of 60s Chargers including a Daytona so now it's this nice 1970 Charger R/T with lots of features.
How did this one fared though?

I LOVE THIS CAR IN GREEN AND WHITE. I JUST ORDERED ONE FROM AMAZON IN ALL BLACK COLOR. THIS CAR LOOKS GREAT IN ALL COLORS. 😊😊

Yeah. Although not my favorite (the side scoops kind of... Meh) it does look good on all colors!

Totally agree. Although not my favorite mopar design, it's still a great muscle car.

I read " If you can find a nicer '70 Charger, I was ready to jump all over it. For $80 ? No, probably not ! Great reviews. I thought I was a picky collector!! You notice everything. Just for kicks, check out Danbury Mint's '70 R/T Charger offered in Plum Crazy Purple. I know it's only 1:24 and easily 4x your price point. I really fell for it. To my late wife's dismay, 4 of them LoL. They're not perfect, but one of the Mint's nicer work IMO !!!! Extremely heavy too. PEACE from Philadelphia Your reviews really are the best !!!

I will look into it. I was actually looking at some Mint's auctions last week but didn't get anything. A Mopar should be THE initial proper Mint buy lol. And 4 of them!? Lol. Wow. Thanks for the kind words! 💪

@@DiecastNewb Absolutely Mopar. Yeah, 4 of them. I was searching for the "perfect" car. If the antenna didn't easily stay extended, had to get another. 2 I cannot find anything negative. Don't even want to write the expenditures for that mission. All about the love of collecting these pieces of art we all fell for!! PS The way you add your comment section during the showing. Gets your point across but still let's the car to be the star of the show !! Classy move.

Haha, the Dodge charger diecast is always very popular, in addition if autoworld can produce the stock version of the 70 charger will be great!

Other than the R/T, I don't think Auto World has released any other 70s Charger... at least as far as I know...

Yeah, Auto World sometimes get lazy and uses old casts without the full features from other tooling they have.

Whoever is in charge of quality control before the car goes into the box, might need glasses. How do you miss the exhaust tips and the passenger seat back?? Lol! Overall a beauty! I want one. ;)

Hahaha yes!!!! I was discussing with someone (probably on Reddit) that lately it seems all quality from every diecast maker has gone down!!! But it is what it is. Overall, it's very nicely done and looks good. 😊💪 Thanks for watching and your comment!

Oh nice!! I think the wheels look ok but GMP ones should look even better. The design decision of adding that door scoop... Yuck! That's my least favorite thing on this car.

@@DiecastNewb Why ? The '70 R/T did come with them. I like them. Couldn't see any gaps or anything like that ?? I thought they did a nice job with the Mopar Rallye wheels as well ! What made me gag was the horrible passenger seat. I've seen little cracks but that looked almost unassembled.

I don't know. I guess if the scoops had any functionality, I would like them more but yeah... even the smaller "fins" of the 71 kind of irk me! Lol! I think the wheel/tire combo is good. Sometimes GMP does offer a bit better quality depending on the wheel design. But I think these are good.

@@DiecastNewb Lol. I'm a Mopar guy and I don't care for those "fins" either. Kinda ruins any lines on those huge front ends.
