Awesome car! One of the coolest "sleeper" cars I saw at swap meets as a kid was late 60s Buick rivieras. Especially if you could find one with the 425 wildcat package. The interior was beautiful on them also!
Hi Bill I have exactly the same car but white top white interior and white stripe, not a 6 pack car, 440, auto. All numbers matching. I’ve searched for years for another one like mine with the same colour combo but have never found one or even pics of one. Love your car. If your ever up in Vancouver BC I’d gladly show you our collection. Take care. Fraser
Having owned 6 packs for many years I can completely sympathize with you about having to work on them to the wee hours. This is why I switched to EFI 6 packs on my Cuda and Challenger, WHY better and still looks good.
My first new car was a 69 Coronet R/T. I presently own a 69 GTX convertible that has most options on it. B7 blue. I also have a 1970 Challenger R/T 440 six pack car with the track pack option. 4 speed and a 354 Dana. Numbers matching car. It's go mango. they made only 80 with this color.
Sir that car is beautiful Mopar knew how to build them cars in the lines on that car you're lucky to be a Mopar guy and get the collect all these gorgeous Mopars and sir I love your show and I agree with you I don't like what Hogan did either
Love it! Back in 1975 I bought a 70 Coronet RT, 440 Six Pac 4spd. Limelight Green. I was a junior in high school, spent $750 for it. Beautiful nice running driving car. Back then I wondered how I was going to afford it making $1.25 an hour pumping gas. I took it to a guy in Detroit to get the carburetors working right and man did that bring the car to life! My dad was a car guy. He had been racing cars before I was born. What was he thinking letting a 17 year old buy a car like that! Lol. Well when you see your old man working on race cars every night after he got home from work I blame him for my passion, right? Lol. But a Mopar? He worked at Amc/Jeep Headquarters in Southfield Michigan. So a Mopar with a 440 and multiple carburetors didn't sit real high on his list. So I used to street race alot. Most people thought I had a 70 Superbee with a 383. My car had the standard RT hood so there wasn't any engine call out anywhere on the car. Let's just say that in the town I live in I never lost a race. My dad found out about my antics so guess what he did? Pulled off the front and back carbs made some block off plates and sent me down the road with a 440 2 barrel. Lol. Man, I miss that car. Found it again in the 80's but I had to walk away from it, it was looking pretty sad. But many, many years later I saw the car again fully restored so I'm glad to see it still survives. So seeing your car brought back some great memories. An if I remember right I think they only built 97 4spds and 97 automatics. Thanks for the memories!
The six-pack package was meant for full fuel dump on a 4-barrel with the extra two for air flow, what it did to their surprise add fuel as well to the mix.
Awesome car! I grew up watching guys in the neighborhood racing during the early 70s.. I love all your cars! It’s especially friggin awesome to see somebody with a vehicle that can afford one doin a BURNOUT with it! Yaaaa!!!!!!
I used to love you when I was a kid when I watch WCW Wrestling. And I love the car content you make. Just a little lowly boy from North Dakota looking up to Bill Goldberg
That is a very beautiful car it reminds me of a car that my brother was working on a car lot his car broke down and they gave him a set of keys gas and a battery it was a 1969 SUPER BEE WITH A 383 with shift kit in the transmission it would not go from 2 to Drive until it was over 60mp I would love ride in one that is a GREAT MEMORIES GOD BLESS YOU SIR
That's a sweet ride the 70 Coronet/Superbee has been my favorite since I was a kid the front end just looks so awesome -plus I have been a Mopar fan since I was a kid too they just had the styling and performance that was different then GM and Ford
On of Mopars best looking cars!!! Spotted a mean grinning grill that would scare a lesser car!! So glad it’s in perfect shape and he does have fun w it!!!!!
hard to not dig it. the 70 coronet aint on the top of my list, but the first car i ever bought was a vitamin c orange 70 Roadrunner. brings back memories, my mom hated that car, and i mean hated it! LOL
Awesome and thanks for sharing! Back in 1971/1972 in London Ontario my brother's friend had a B5 blue '70 R/T 440 6 pack auto. White roof, white interior and white stripe car.
