1970 Ferrari Dino Competition
This Dino 246GT was sold brand new in January 1971 in Palermo, Sicily.
The following year, the Sicilian racer won the 1977 Targa Florio for the first time overall,
Alfondo Merendino, aka "Apache," became the owner and used it as a training car in Sicily.
Merendino has many important racing records.
This Dino is a "lightweight" version similar to the one once run and can be found in the Dino Compendium book.
