I got to drive the 1974 Dino 246 GTS European specification on winding roads. I also drove this Dino 246 GTS in Turin, Italy. Since it has undergone a full restoration that can be said to be perfect, it is in almost new condition, so I could not feel the difference in body rigidity compared to the coupe on winding roads. It can be said that it is a model that has been completed with a finish that is clearly the final model, such as the finish of each part of the car and the ease of handling of the operation system. The Tipo-E, the final model of the Dino 246 GT, has undergone a number of minor changes, and only the differences in appearance have been taken up, is wide and does not feel peaky. After removing the Targa top and driving in the open, I immediately noticed that the exhaust sound, which was more comfortable than the engine sound, was heard in the cockpit, and I was able to fully enjoy the exhilarating driving pleasure. The "GTS" model that started with this 246GTS has been inherited by the latest model 296GTS, but the Targa top structure is a really wonderful idea, and Mr. Pinin Farina and Leonardo Fiora who gave functional beauty to the beautiful Dino. I would like to pay tribute to Mr. Vanti for his great achievement.
