The brake lights on the mustang stopped working sometime last week - so here's the steps I took to check & fix them.

I had the same thing happen to mine. The horn and steering wheel hub was earthing it out. Took me a while to figure it out.

Hey Joe, I got a dumb question. I can’t find my fuse box on my 1970 Ford mustang. Do you know where it’s located? I looked under the steering wheel area and I don’t see anything. Thanks

Hey the fuse box should be about 6-10 inches above where the high beams floor button is. Sometimes you have to almost lay down and look up diagonally to see it hidden up in there. To confirm, you can also look in the engine bay near the brake master for the grommet and hole where the engine harness comes out, there should be a big thick wrap of wire that you can see to confirm that it's coming from the fuse box. Only other thing to think on is if your car has been custom rewired and maybe the box is located in a different place? Trace any line long enough and it will route to the fuse box though.

Hey buddy. Hows things. I'm searching for wiring kits for my mach 1. Did you replace the wires on yours? What recommended wiring and how many circuits should there be?

This is a link to the wiring harness I used. I've had relatively no problems, except the front bumper blinkers don't behave the same as they did when stock. I would also seriously consider the american auto wire harness too if you're shopping. www.cjponyparts.com/painless-performance-complete-chassis-wiring-harness-14-circuit-1969-1970/p/WH6970/

Nice. Glad you figured that out. So was that a later model turn signal set up? The 70 mustang has a round hazard button, don't they? Or perhaps they made several different kinds. Not sure. I know in 71-73 the hazard knob looks like this. But then I saw pics of a 70 column out of a mustang with a round hazard push button knob. So not sure. perhaps I got all this backwards. Just found a 71-73 with a round knob. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-h2qYYIJq4e8.html
