in the early 70's AC's Columbus Ohio branch always showed up with numerous brand new 190-210-220s to demo at the Ohio State Fair tractor pulls...along with Kendall Oils AC was a top sponser of the early NTPA...

You see here where Ertl got their ideas for the Big Ace, Flyn Farmall, and Mity Miny toys.

Those tractors had to be tough and had plenty of power to pull those heavy weights in competition and at the same time work the fields. I have two John Deere compact tractors and they are tough, but can't compete with those in this video.

Al Arnold, won the 1971 and 1972 heavyweight class in Louisville with his AC 220 The Spoiler so it is pretty shure the movie is from 1973

Was there both years when he won. I think a guy from Adairville, Kentucky won with a tricycle 40?? JD in 73 or 74. Johnny Lancaster always made a good show with his AC. Didn’t have a fancy paint job, looked fresh off farm 🙂, but he always ran well. His favorite expression was, “ I’m gonna go or blow”. He was a great guy. But that was before corporate sponsorship took over. Wayne Cox pulled a tricycle 190 XT about the same time frame. Wayne was from Taylorsville, Kentucky

I'll venture to guess that this film was made in the early 1970s.

It was the 70’s for sure because the seating at Louisville changed in the very early 80’s I think it was 82 but not for sure on exact year
