This is not a "Mardi gras" celebration, this is a New Orleans "second line" parade given by Black social aid and pleasure clubs in various parts of the city on any given Sunday afternoon outside of Mardi gras season, don't confuse this with Mardi gras! ⚜️

Back in the 1970's, there were Mardi Gras parades in places like Gentilly Woods/Pontchartrain Park and New Orleans East. Those were gone by the 1980's or 90s.
