I was 8 years old in Springfield Ohio and we would have sleep overs on Friday night and stay up and watch those amazing corny horror flicks with Bob. God, those were the greatest days of my life!

As I sit here with a TV that streams hundreds of channels, I miss the days of 4 or 5 TV stations.

Guy was a classic .. shopped in my store at Kroger in Delhi in the mid Eighties .. always shopped with his wife. I talked to him but totally different person when out of character . Loved that guy. Kinda grew up on him since I was a little kid when he played Barney Google...

I grew up in Delhi in the 1950's to early-60's and watched Bob Shreve (The Three Stooges) weeknights at 6 PM on Channel 9. That actual Barney Google theme song for his "The Three Stooges" show is here on RU-vid if you are interested. It is Barney Google by Joe Fingers Carr and the Carr-Hops. Really brought back memories of that 6 PM show. We moved away in 1964 and I had no idea that he lived in Delhi.

My friends would come over and we'd all watch Bob. I remember the all night movie program being called Night People Theater...don't I?

That was on WHIO 7 on overnight Fridays during the 60's before the name was adopted by WLWT 5 when the All Night Theater moved there from WCPO 9 in the early 70's....

I would assume these are in WCPOs archives but they are stingy about sharing.

Treat this with the respect it deserves and fix the aspect ratio. Or hire someone who can!

You can thank me for digging this out of a online archive and posting it to YT. Obviously the original recording was made by the Bob Shreve website and the original record and encode is when aspect ratio was set I have no control over that. The more you know ;-) Just be thankful someone provided this clip for you to watch for free.
