This is a tutorial somewhat of the install of the 1971 - 1973 Ford Mustang Crossmember Strut Bar by Dynacorn: 3648NG. I hope you enjoy. You've got this dude. I have yet to see one of these mustangs that hasn't had this part replaced or patched from rotting.

Looking great Steffen, just like the name says, "Factory Reset". Making the minitubs the way you did is clever. What's your best guess on the largest width tire that you'll be able to fit inside the rear fender now? Will a 12" wide tire fit?

Thank you sir I sure appreciate the kind words. A 12" tire will surely fit with no problem. I believe I have it opened up to take a 13" wide tire with no rubbing.

Do you have a video for replacing the ENGINE crossmember? My 70 Torino crossmember looks fairly bent. It was able to be aligned however. I am wondering how much extra bracing I would need to hold it from moving while replacing it, or do I even need any with the strut crossmember and all aprons intact?

If I'm following you correctly, you are saying the motor cross member was bent and you pulled/straightened it back to where it was originally and now you want to replace the part with a new one. If that is what you're saying and trying to do, I don't think you need to brace anything. I did one in a 70 Cyclone which is the same as your Torino and I didn't have to brace anything and the new one went right in.

@@SteffsGarage no it's never really been pulled back and I don't think it's affecting the shock Tower alignment but I was worried about it flexing and moving while I am removing it and replacing it
