I'm working on my Stepdads old 71* CL350 since he passed away. I'm no mechanic but i have the determination and a little know-how. I got good compression but I too am getting spark on the right cylinder and not the left. I'm going to look into what you just did in this video. Thanks for the upload.
In 1996 I picked up a non running 1969 CL450 K2 in Houston, a complete bike for $200 with a title. It was red in color. The fuel tank was in rough shape but I actually found a NOS tank ($300) in the same color/stripe as the one on your bike so I installed the NOS blue tank and painted the metal side covers to match the blue tank. I sold it to a friend in Houston a couple years later for $1000, he sold it about a year after that. I imagine it is sitting in some garage gathering dust in Houston. I hope not, it deserved better
Picked up a cl350 scrambler and a 305. Seized motor on the 350 so I out in the 305...fit perfectly. The scrambler had longer forks making it looked chopped. Went through everything and rode that thing from Syracuse to Watertown often. Everyone loved it. Wish I'd never parted with it.
