OMG! Brother had one they used to take the baffle out to make it sound badass. It was meant to stay on the street or fire roads. I beat my brother on a mx track with my honda xr 75 lol! Would always run have to give it that.

Bringing back fond memories Ken , There was a guy who had the 175 version many many yrs ago and he used too keep chickens not far from me , and he used ride past every day on dirt road behind my house I could hear him from a far way off and I would rush out just too too see the bike , I was only a kid at the time and I loved that bike too this day , god bless everyone

Oh my God I know it's not an at2 like I had but it sounds very similar to my first motorcycle,. I almost fainted when I saw the yami 123 at2 you had a video on a couple months ago. I remember putting a fork brace on my plastic fender taking the tail lights off changing all the tires getting a 21 in 21 in front wheel laced up new foot pegs all kinds of stuff it was my first and as you know we never forget our first 😂👌 I even had the engine ported by a locally famous guy at Boston cycles in Brighton I don't know that I can spell his name but it was Ian paddle, a Brit who was a real tuner in his day, as I speak I remember all the other parts the k&n air filter different grips different bars oh my God it's all coming back to me again. 😁

Thats a clean machine 👌 my old friend had 1 of them and at that time I had a new 1992 CR250 we had a fcukin blast that summer😏 👊✊💨💨💨

Those were great Looking bikes. I had a Kaw at the time, which I loved, but frankly I was a bit jealous of the look of this machine.

Nice. Had a 71 back in college in the early 80s. Looks like the exhaust grill is from a 72 or 73. I don't think my 71 had conical hubs.

I remember that color well in several Yamahas..
