1971 Yamaha RT1MX 360 

Very nice job on the RTI. I am in the process of doing a 1972 DT2MX right now. They are very cool bikes. I don't plan on selling this one.

Great video....I have '71 Yamaha rt1 "MX" 360 as well close to running (working on replacing fuel tank as original rusted out)Bikes prob 7 out of 10 original condition. I have two pipes for it, the stinger and the enduro type which ive put a performance cone in(I like the chrome guard/pipe shape and doesnt burn your leg). I also play guitar rhythm/lead too. If your ever in OK we could take the bikes trail riding somewhere that would be pretty cool for people to see two "MX's" riding together. Wow we have some things in common I would say.

My dad also had an MX360

@dreamon14 I got it in July but didn't get to start on it until November. I worked on it when time and parts would allow. I'm finishing up 2 more 250's very soon.

I have an RT1 it is an Enduro not an MX and it will kickback due to the advance sleeve on the flywheel sometimes causing it to fire before top dead center. I believe that is why they cane stock with a compression release.

have messed with a few vintage bikes..... did you re chrome the upper fork tubes or find some in better shape?... just ran into a 75 gt 80 ... yammie.. got a ways to go on it....
