It looks in really good shape. i had a 1972 green 4 door model, standard transmission which I bought brand new fo $2500 (Canadian dollars) in canada in 1972. THe only option I purchased with the car was 4 Michelin Xs RADIAL tires which made a huge difference in the handling of the car. Thanks for your video
Love the car brother, I drive the exact same car, same year, and I just spent $7,000 buying race performance parts, just got a race radiator, I took out the old fans and switched to an electric fan, I got dual side draft Weber race carburetors, some racing headers, a bunch of goodies for her so when she runs the canyons she’s running at its maximum strength and performance 🏎💪🏻
I had twin side draft Webber's on my first Datsun 1600 back in 1987, I went to go to work one morning only to find out someone had stolen the Webber's overnight, I was devastated
my first car was a 72 datsubn 510 wagon. orange, we called it JOJO, after a beatles song. great for boot'n down back alleys, and cemetaries in the middle of the night.
Honestly I can't tell, I've tried finding another one like it and haven't been able to. The previous owner sourced it and that was a while back. It resembles a whittling or cusco, but is probably custom made. The only markings on it are a number stamped in the front center edge.
