@@GarageCollectiveCO I had a 66 VW van..kinda beat up but had new engine. My buddy had a "cherry" '65 w/pass thru seating. His would be 30-40k EASY!! he paid $1400.00 I got mine for $600.00 I'm looking to get another one to use for "retirement". ☺️

Well if the SCCA B Sedan TransAm Manufacturers Championships are any measure, the 2002 is actually the slow man's 510.

@@Datsun510zen it can be what ever you call it but a 510 is still a Poor man’s 2002 .

@@waterlover Sure, but explain why you make a point of saying "poor man's BMW" for not spending nearly 2X as much for a slower car? Makes no sense. The 510's track performance is legendary with numerous national championships in road racing, auto-cross, and rally. The rich man's 2002, not so much.

@@Datsun510zen no need to explain it just looks way better and everyone knows Datsun came out with the 510 to try and compete with the 2002 but the number of sales speaks for itself. Not so many 510 but the 2002 in the other hand sold way more then they anticipated and it’s what made BMW as of today. The ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE. Explain that.🤣 I have a 510 in my collection so I’m not talking crap. It I love my 2002’s more it’s why they get driven more then any of my cars.
