You should tape the light to a popsicle stick to hold it in place while you pour around it. I hope this helped hun. I love watching you work your magic every time.
I would totally put this in my room. I still use nightlights and i love turtles and the changing colored lights❤❤ so cute. You did a great job. Very creative
I helped you hold it too.. The turtles are my favourite molds..I love their cuteness so much.. love everything else you do but soft spot for your turts..❤😊
I really have been enjoying all of your videos! You make me think of me always trying to make my work always my best. I love creating and learning new things . I look forward to ever day! One day soon I hope to by some of your molds, and keep me inspired. You are such a joy!!!!!
The turtle looks gorgeous! A possible hack for the light is to tape a craft stick (or 2 sticks if you need more weight) to the base of the light over the battery cover, so the stick rests on or over the edges of the mold which would stabilise the light while you pour the resin into the mold. Once the resin has set sufficiently, you can remove the stick so it doesn't obstruct where you want to add a 2nd sealing coat to the mold.
Hey Julie! This little turtle is just too cute! Love that chameleon powder color...so pretty. The cellophane strips look amazing shining through the clear resin. Big Hugs from Texas!!
This is so adorable and beautiful Julie. ❤ I bought this turtle 🐢 mold from you. I will try this out and put it in my bathroom so I can see at night. Theo would love this❤
Well I have to remember to do it that way. So much cleaner than me grabbing a handful and pulling it out to cut. 😅 Not to mention all the times I cut my finger along with the cello grass. 😬😳 I looked up the brand name in the American Amazon store and the night light was right there. I will have to order them. Thank you! 😊 Such a cute night light. 😊❤
I love it so much it turned out great. I was helping hold the light but I don't think I did very well lol would love for you to make a cat mold next but it's ok if you don't. I just love cats. The turtle is just amazing and I love watching your videos. You are an incredible teacher and person thank you with love from Ashland Ohio
Absolutely lovely and I've been inspired by you over recent weeks (since finding your channel) and finally tried resin over the weekend and made several mini projects ❤️ thanks for sharing all you do!
I'm going to order one of these. They're adorable. Maybe use a piece of tape to tape your light in while you pour the rest of your resin. That may work.
I did a seal with one of these same exact lights and I had to throw the first light away because it got covered with resin! I finally figured it out though!
I found a used cross cut paper shredder extremely cheap and just put my iridescent film through that to cut it up. I cut lots at one time and store them in jars by color. Takes up less space when storing them.
You could put some painter's (or masking) tape across the entire bottom of the night light. That way it is protected from getting resin on the battery compartment, then use more masking tape to fix the nightlight to the top of the mold. It's not my idea, but I don't remember which channel I saw it on.
