I have a 71 looks identical to this one. Bought it for my son to learn to ride and then he raced flat track on it for a couple years with good success. Great bike!
I had a 72 yamaha 100 for my 1st bike at 12yrs.old( lived on farm) I had a few crashes but learned to ride the old fashion way!!! I dont remember the kaw 100 but a good looking bike!
I have the exact model motorcycle but I haven’t gotten it running yet. The carburetor inside the casing is new to me and I’m not a mechanic tho I’ve worked on a bunch of my vehicles. Very cool you have one and posted this. I’m going to try to get mine up and going in the next few weeks. I hope when I do it’s fairly reliable. I plan to take into the woods!
Nice, what sweet bikes. I have a 1975 Kawasaki 100 G4TR that was my grandfather's. It starts right up but needs a new seat and I need to track down an air filter for it. It also needs new tires as it still has the original ones, lol!
Had several of those old rotary valve 100s when I was a kid, my first one was an orange 72 like that one only mine was a G5, didn't have the high/low range. A friend of mine had one exactly like that one though. Favorite was a 74 that was blue when I got it, but I adapted green plastics off of a newer KX125 and painted the metal tank to match. Really thought I was something, building my first custom at the ripe old age of 14, LOL.
I still have it's "bigger brother" ---a Kawisaki 125---& if I recall correctly----from the same year that I occasionally ride out on the farm. Don't have the crome rear fender though--nice touch! Thanks for video Tim!
Ahhhhh the good ol' taint destroyer. These things will destroy your rear end on long trips. The suspension is the stiffest thing on earth. Great bike though!
It's a 100... give it 7000 R's and turn the music off! XD just givin ya crap. I got an old G5 with a blowed up piston and rings I'm working on right now, no idea how that happened...
