1972 MG Midget 1275 - The Smallest Classy Car! 

Haha, you know... sometimes it's not the performance numbers. This is just a neat car in my book. Unique.

Haha how did that transmission hold up to that? Or the clutch lol. Sounds like a good time to me. Back when old cars were dirt cheap.

@@mattquerio engine/trans/clutch took it like a champ. I got o-ring kits from Victoria British and rebuilt the brake/clutch systems myself at 14-15yrs old. Sold the midget at 17 to buy my uncle's 84 firebird. Lol, the 1275 midget got drifted down every dirt road within 2 miles every time the folks were gone for awhile. Really, it was what? A 63ish horsepower 1275? It was a hoot! And yes, I turned the 1275 6500+ a little a thousand times

The drivetrain of these cars was never fragile. Less than 65 hp

I've always liked the B as well. More roomy for sure. I had the chance to drive a late B, really late, when the hp ratings had completely crashed. It was a gd driving car, but the early metal bumper B's are the ones that always caught my attention. The earlier the better.

The 1972 to 1974, which has the round wheel arches this car has, as well as the 1275cc engine. Sorry I sometimes chew on my tongue as I talk.

I have driven one, and it was indeed great. It's funny that the B seems small, until you get in a midget, then you really appreciate the extra space of the B. I really want a clean BGT.
