This is a ex-USA Matching Numbers Norton Commando 750 Combat. A well looked after survivor we have brought it back to life with a refurbishment. We were told the superblends have been done in the past and having done 15,000 miles we believe that would be true. While inspecting the bore we saw hone marks were still visible so believe this to have had an overhaul not too long ago. Still with it's original twin amal carburettors and air filter setup. It even has original Norton logo stamped peashooters. The engine sounds very strong with great compression - no smoke!
Work done:
- All Oils changed
- Oil pressure gauge installed
- Anti-wet sump valve with ignition switch installed
- New Fork stanchions + seals installed
- New centre stand
- New handlebars
- New rear brake cable
- New Lucas indicators
- New battery
- New headlight shell
- New Dunlop TT100 front and rear tyres
- New front wheel rim and spokes
- Rebuilt front brake with new seals, calipers and pads
- Fresh paint job
- Rear brakes overhauled
