This is part 2 of the Vega needs a Ford mechanic project lol!! Im just messin around but we get the car going under its own power however we have something going on with the transmission. It slips just a little! Anyways follow along and watch me go!

Might be a good idea to split that header flange. Just make two cuts, between the front and middle, and between the middle and rear.

Duntov cam, and a 600 Holley vacuum secondary. Classic. Probably about 8 to 1 compression.

I do not like those paper exhaust gaskets. I started using the aluminum ones, they are more money but will compensate for poor header welds on the flanges!

When tightening headers up start from one end and go to the other. It probably has been tightened front then back then middle bowing the headers.

I just saw this. I was hoping it was there for an upgrade. You know, a 302 or 351 or something. Or just roll it out in the street, gallon of gas, a match, and all better !!!

It needs a lot of tlc and a Chevy man on it so it don’t keep getting rigged up. But instead having the right person on it doing things right with care and love for what it can be.

That was blue magic but if you can find wenol that stuff works really well too on welds

@@TeamDPerformance couldn't do that would have out done Corvette. my first car was a 74 with 350 and manual 4speed I did it myself got me in trouble mom took it and sold it. college money

@@TeamDPerformance Needs some chassis work for that. If he puts much power in it. He'll end up every which way doing the twist and shout. If you're like me, you'll probably end up doing that too. That car was designed around an engine that made seventy one horsepower.

It for sure needs better front suspension then the old stuff designed for that little engine that was in it. I can’t tell if the person who built it was just making a cool hot wheels type car that looked the part or really intended to go fast in it.

I remember the 80's. Crazy paint, pinstripes on the windows, blower on a big block, and a cage made out of exhaust pipe welded straight to the floor. No pads. No reinforcements. Ready to poke through like a church key through a beer can.
