*EDITED COMMENT* "Wow! Building a unicorn that costs 5 times as much to do for no extra benefit, no more power, and no more reliability... Anyways, it's his to do what he wants"... I had been told that by a lot of people and I stated that as a JOKE. I'm actually doing a 302 swap on a 1997 nissan hardbody and I've been told similar statements. My whole reason is I had a running 302 given to me by my neighbor and my mustang friends heard about what I'm doing so they all started bringing me stuff to do it with, donating to the build. Cam, link bar roller lifters, hardened pushrods, 600 holley double pumper, performer intake, msd streetfire, msd distributor, button, cap and plug wires, headers, clutch kit, race harmonic balancer, GT40P heads... In parts to build the motor alone I'm honestly pushing the point to where it would have almost cost the same to LS swap it. I seriously didn't think it would but I'm too deep to back up now.

I cut the roof in a way that I was able to slide the rear hatch forward. Basically turning it into an elcamino. I grafted on a set of fiberglass fenders on the rear so I was able to run dual wheels. It was ugly, poorly done. Hideous body work. Just an eyesore to everyone else. Except my dad. He could see I had a talent hiding so it was game on from there. I think Pintos are better than foxbody mustangs and the hype that killed the Pinto held back builders into making these cars into cool hot rods and racers. No frame is a thing but the rice rocket crowd never cared about that. These wagon Pintos are cooler looking than Nomads when they are rodded.
