We're starting to fix the old Ford in our quest to get it back on the road (while keeping the cab securely attached to the frame). We're tackling what should be the hardest part of the project, fixing the rusted out floors and cab supports. It doesn't matter if it's a truck, car, or van. The windshield weatherstripping shrinks and cracks over time, letting water in. The water eventually rots the floor(s) away, leaving what you see in this truck. Adding to the rot, salt, mud and road debris build up under the floor, holding moisture and causing the floor supports to rot as well. We're dealing with both of these issues here, but luckily we have the replacement panels to fix all of this. And, we have some young, motivated helpers that are eager to cut and weld!
