i had a 69 GT 428scj not fast back though i love 72 Grand Sport but the should have left big motors for Torino's they are big cars, 351 is great motor but 428,429 were great for these i know 70's things were changing but somethings are better left alone. hell of a job with that beauty
Could you please tell me where you found a replacement dash pad/cap?? I am in need of a brown one please help if you can.i found a mint condition one out of a 75 ltd and they looked identical but when I got home with it ,it was to long! But I only paid 10 bucks for it. But the look and style were so close I would've bet money it would've fit. Thanks for any help or leads If you read this and can help me find a replacement
BILL WILLIAMSON where could I find a dash pad/cap for a 73 Torino? I'm desperate? It's literally the only part i need for a total interior cosmetic restoration
@@Crumbcatcher-mi9pf hit the facebook gran torino pages or grantorino.org forum, thats where I found a extra crack free dash. Keep in mind that dash cap is the same for almost all 72-79 ford intermediates. There are plenty out there, don't pay much more then $200 or so for one plus shipping for a really nice crack free cap. Try to get one from up north if possible, any crack free dashes from the south are on borrowed time. good luck
@BILL WILLIAMSON thanks man I never thought to look for a Facebook page.since I've been browsing on there already found some hard to find stuff thank you again
