1973 Lotus Europa John Player Special - Exterior Review 

This video highlights the many imperfections in the bodywork. I have seen it in the flesh and it is in a worse state after a few year's use. This car was originally a write off, rebuilt and painted black - the original colour was Roman Purple. Not a car for the purist but a relatively cheap way into buying a Special.

I suspect you're using gas struts that are too powerful pushing up the engine cover. Worn out Saab 9000 hood struts work well for this. 8:03. Could the tire have hit the wing? 13:12. Looks like you figured out a way to go with a single brake servo rather than two of them. Not a bad idea. Are you boosting the front brakes only?
