1973 Mercedes 450SE Diagnosing the D-Jetronic Issues 

Hey! Great video, my dad just picked up a 74’ 450SE (d-tronic) also. New cap rotor plugs wires and points. Runs really well most of the time! I dove into the car a bit more then him and found the O2 adjustment makes a huge difference with how the car runs! Also I replaced ALL of the vacuum lines in the car. Again great video! And a beautiful car

Don't you think its best to check the fuel system pressure first to make sure its ok before trying to repair the auxiliary air valve? With the engine running its possible to check the auxiliary air valve weather its stuck open or stuck close. I like your video, its so clear. Thanks for posting.
