These bike shift up to first and then four down through the gears.

@@Jimbos1954 One down and four up if you are shifting with your toe. That heel shift makes it confusing.

@@davidbuchhauser1488 You are mistaken. Earlier Guzzi’s we’re opposite of the majority of motorcycles back in the day and their shift pattern is up for first and then down for the rest. Forget about the heel toe shifter. Up is up and down is down. Do some research if you are still confused.
