My first ride was exactly like that one...except mine had at least 1 dent in every quarter panel, the drivers door was hit so hard by an excavator bucket it was permanently inoperable, and no two tires matched. But other than that, it was exactly the same.
Why on earth do people call it a cold start? I’m just curious. I had a 1980 Chevy pick up that started without any problems in the 90s. Didn’t even have the plug it in up here in northern Canada. Pump the throttle three times turn the key way to go, lol!
It is to demonstrate that the vehicle will start on its own when cold. Some vehicle may have to be primed or choked and may need starting fluid. A hand on a muffler pipe and intake shows it is indeed cold. Fairly common for videos of online sales. This video was made for a brjng-trailer-auction and they suggest it. Truck has been sold for a few years now.
