74 Ford Econoline Custom Van. Purchased for $3,200 in 1976 by Bruce and Patsy Gieselman has been in the family ever since. Been to many truck-ins back in the 70s. He took his sweetheart Patsy to the prom in it and he and his wife went on their honeymoon in it. Beautifully customized by tom and Captain Kurk Collis it will be on the road, Camping and back to many van runs in the future. THE VANS ARE BACK! Love the old vans. I REALLY want to go to a van show, I don't think that it even matters that I don't even have a van, I have a feeling I'd be treated like a long lost friend!

Man, back in 91' I bought a 74' Econoline for $500. Engine was in great shape. It was a cargo type van with no seats in the back. Just the driver's and passenger seat. I put a loveseat in the back along with a couple of lawn chairs. I basically lived out of it for a long time. The paint was all dull on it, red. But man I loved it. Three on the tree. Comfortable to drive. Great van for camping and cruising, which I did both with. Lol.

The quadriphonic eight track was a party. I have a 74 Chevy G10 van I bought new in 74 with a Craig quadraphonic 8 track along with 4 mindblower speakers (each speaker have their own 30 w amp built in). Looks good, Keep on Truckin my man.

I REALLY LOVE THIS VAN, I HAD A 75 DODGE TRADESMAN SHORT WHEELBASE CUSTOMIZED WITH A BED SINK AND A COOLER UNTIL IT WAS STOLEN ON ME. BUT I JUST LOVE THE EARLY 70'S FORD ECONOLINE VAN. 😊😊

Don't feel bad, those t-shirts from the 70s are notorious for shrinking! I have a few. My first van "experience" was in a Ford just like yours that belonged to my buddy. We took our GFs up to Yosemite, partied a lot and camped out. After that, I was hooked! 48 years later, I'm still driving a van.

Had a metallic Brown 1974 Ford Econoline Daisy mags 302 with the Street and strip transmission C4 was in California vans Pasadena for several years. My handle was carpet man.

Bought a brand new ‘74 short wheel base E100 in ‘74. At Southdale Ford in Edina, Mn. Cragar SS wheels, thrush outsider exhaust. Bright yellow with custom flames. Wish I still had it. Do have some photos. Would like to duplicate it. Love yours.

Vanfest 78 colonial beach dragway was called Woodstock on wheels if I remember right there was in excess of 5000 vanners there.
