didnt know about that D washer in the triple tree clamp. just looked at my project and its missing. go figure. luckily the clamp isnt broken yet. thanks for that info

My favorite is when both are broken. That means they were tightening the first one and it snapped so they repeated the process on the next one. 😂

Nice job, looks great. I’ve been working on the same bike on and off for 10 months and you crank them out one after another. I prefer a small front fender. Seat color matching the grips is a nice detail and the tan/brown color is perfect with the tank color. Very good looking bike.

Thanks for watching. This bike was a fun build. Doing these videos has forced me to be more accountable and get stuff done. Before I would go into the shop, watch TV and not get anything done.

Cool approach with battery clearance issue. Would have loved to have seen that extension fab work process.

I’d fit a small fender on the front close to tyre

That would be cool. This is the way the customer wanted it. Thanks for watching.

What did you use for the rear fender? Off any particular bike?
@motorcyclerewind

That’s the original cb360 fender. Cut it and rolled it up.

I'm alwayd interested in other peoples take of CB/CJ 250/360. CB350 had the D washer, pretty sure it wasn't on any CB360's and definitely wasn't on any CJ250/360

People leave that little washer out all the time. Thanks for watching.

Great work with this project, can't believe how nice it looks from where it started! Question for the tuning, what do you think those pops in the exhaust are coming from?
@motorcyclerewind
@motorcyclerewind 2 года назад
That was the first ride. I am sure that the carb needed tuning and the timing checked. If I had to guess it's from it being lean. Did not have a filters on it for this ride. Just making sure it ran before the owner picked it up.
