@@euroasianbob9268 ok, I found one with decent paint with 88k on it, and runs very well along with several new parts. It sounds like if I can get it for 5k then I should buy it. I really like these 70s Cougars and and T-Birds.
Glamour edition, nothing could scream Malaise more. I will admit though, I have always been a fan of this gen T Bird. They have a look that is almost Torino cool.
I sure hope you do a report on those guys trip,,, also that Town & Country Am/Fm radio is very rare,, 99% of everyone got the Am/Fm 8 track but that town and country is a rare bird...
Ford/Lincoln/Mercury had a much better sound styem in their vehicles than did the GM products. From the lower door speakers to the speakers in the rear, the true "stereo sound" was far better than other manufacturers' sound sytems, in my opinion.
My best friend and his girl . Rented one of these for us as a wedding present. A 4 years newer but the same color scheme. She couldn’t get in my pickup with the wedding dress. I still have her but wish I had the car. I mean .I’m lucky that I still have her. And it would been nice to have kept the car as a reminder.😂
Hey Bob, this Thunderbird is stunning!!! Way back when I had a 75 Thunderbird that was silver with the red vinyl top, side moulding & interior!!! These cars are so comfortable & just float down the road!!! The new owner is a lucky man!!! Thanks for sharing this exciting video!!! 👍👍🙂
What a honey of a car! Congrats on the sale and congratulations to the new owner. Like you, extremely jealous for his trip home, I wish him safe travels. ~ Chuck
I owned the very exact car in 1980 she was a beautiful car. My wife and I went from the Black Hills where we lived to the Oregon coast our first trip as a married couple. I remember that trip like it was yesterday.
Beautiful car. My first car was a 79 Olds Cutlass. All brown. Wish I still had it, also grew up on a Honda Z50. Wish I had that too. Oh, the good ole days.
Once again Bob , beautiful.. I love your videos and very appreciative that you can share these beautiful cars for us today 😊. Thank you, Keep it up brother .
bob, you have great taste and i love your passion for these vehicles. hell, i would buy a car from you just for the fun of flying out from nyc, meeting you and road tripping it home!
very nice. years go i had a white 1976 thunderbird. you got great deals. that car is better than cars nowadays. wood on steering wheel that's real wood.
My first car 1975 Mercury Montego I think it’s the same car basically. Mine was green exterior with lime green interior and my Dad had it painted black. It looked really awful in my opinion especially back then.
But I did notice and it is equipped rather oddly no automatic temperature control with a lot of times had it also does not have the map lights on either side of the dome
@@casst346 no worries. It actually was sold at time of video and customer took it to CA. He had trouble getting it smogged and registered so I actually bought it back from him a couple months later.
